My given name is Steven, but no one really calls me that and I don’t care much for it anyway – so for all intents and purposes, please call me Diajanone or “Señor Esteban De Leonoro” kidding… just kidding, Diajanone will do nicely.
How do I describe myself? If you were to ask anyone, they’d tell you that I’m voraciously loquacious, on par with the parlance and voluminously versed in the vernacular. I dig jive, jargon, and semantics – and I even speak some slang – observe… ‘swag’. Impressed?
Words are my playground, but even so, writing this bio proved to be hard for me. I consider myself more of a visual artist than a writer, and an artist in any medium must be able to find that balance between self-importance and humility – and hope one doesn’t sound too much of a egotistical d*** while trying to write about himself.
I’m thirty-nine, and as I get older – easing myself into the post-middle aged phase (I’d only call it middle-aged if I were certain I was going to make it to the century mark), I find myself wanting to seek the companionship of like-minded individuals – to write and share life experiences. Being a military brat, I’ve lived in a few places and was able to experience a few things – collect a few stories along the way.
