  • So, I sit here and wonder what you may want to hear first. My childhood - well, it was cliche for my current circumstances - the whole abuse and more abuse. Despite that though, I can't say that I had a bad childhood. The only thing I can say is that my childhood was a major factor in the decisions that I made later. Let's see - I have been married 3 times and have 4 children. Two girls and two boys. They are 21, 19, 18, and 9. Each of them have a different mother. I do miss them. And tey have grown up since I have been in here. I was in the Army for about 5 years and my crime was committed soon after I was discharged. I was a fairly normal person. I mean, I worked, came home, loved my family. I even believed in giving. I volunteered about 4 hours a week and gave about 5-6% of my net income to charity. I never dreamed that I could do something like I did until it happened. I did not sit and dwell on it; I didn't believe that I - who felt so much love for my fellow man - could cause so much pain. But I did. I can't take it back and it will never be the same again. Now, I am here and I seek to understand this problem and hope to help people to understand. The hardest part for you will be to look past the monstrous thing that I did and to not see a monster but an actual person. It is true that sometimes a person will be a monster, but I would like to think that despite what that judge inferred when he gave me that life sentence - that I am not a monster and can be saved. Now, I endeavor to take you along with me on that journey to find the truth. It will not be pretty at times, but I pray that at the end we will all find a way to make our world a better place. Please, if you would like to know certain things, let me know. I truly would like to receive feedback. If you do not wish to correspond, then just post a message and do not leave an address, as I cannot send emails.
